Bowel screening - Who can do the test?
People aged 60 to 74, who are registered with a GP, are sent a home testing kit in the post. The test kits are sent every 2 years.
The age range for bowel screening is being lowered, so you may get a test kit before you reach 60.
If you’re over 74, you can still get a test kit every 2 years. You’ll just need to phone 0800 707 60 60 and ask for one.
Do you think you should have been sent a home testing kit and it has not arrived? Call the free bowel cancer screening helpline on 0800 707 60 60.
